Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you are more than welcome to return it for a store credit valid for six months from the purchase date. The Credit amount will be less any shipping paid for your order.
We are also happy to exchange your product (subject to availability) within the store, providing it is unused with tags attached, in the same condition and packaging that you received it in.
The following goods are exempt from being returned or exchanged so please ensure you choose them carefully.
- Perishable goods such as food in particular our cake mixes and amazing tasting Chocolate.
- Fresh Flowers
- Body washes and soaps
- Sale Items
If you choose to exchange an item please advise us as soon as possible by emailing us at email@example.com
In the case of an exchange please note that any extra postage costs incurred are payable by you and the return of the new item is subject to us receiving the extra postage cost incurred. Once this is received the new item will be posted immediately.
Returns of Faulty items
All items considered faulty will be sent back to the supplier.
It is important that you note we sub lease out space within our store to independent designers and store, selling their products on behalf, consequently we are not the owners of the product.
Therefore each individual brand maintains ownership of their product, and also retain any obligations or requirements of the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If any issues arise regarding these products, we are required to refer the matter to them and follow their protocol.
If our supplier has gone into liquidation or no longer is a tenant within the Collective you will need to take the issue up with the supplier directly.
Making a return for store credit or an exchange is easy simply follow the steps below:
- Check you meet the above obligations and ensure you are with the 14 day return/exchange period. Any return or exchange outside of this time frame will not be processed.
- Contact the Collective on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss your request.
Let us know if you would like to return the item for store credit or exchange it for another item. If you are exchanging the item please let us know what item you are hoping to exchange it for and we will hold it until we receive your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
We recommend you use a trackable shipping service, so no product can get lost in the post! You are responsible for the goods until they are received by us in a new, resalable condition.
